Aaniin, Boozhoo!
Welcome to Shki Maajsemgad ~ New Beginning Anishnaabemowin Resource site!
Michele O'Brien Ndi zhnihaaz, Program Coordinator of Anishnaabemowin Language Programming Program and Aboriginal Community and Social Development. I have been teaching in ACSD for 15 years, and became Coordinator 7.5 years ago, and summer 2014 for ANLP. Last year when the language program began, I realized that I must learn the language for me to assist the students and do my part in perserving this beautiful language which is in danger of being lost. I have completed Ojibwe 1 and I am currently in Ojibwe 2. This website is our contribution to revitalizing Anishnaabemowin and to provide resources for community members to learn and do their part. A New Beginning...lets keep the language ALIVE!

Aaniin!
Taylor Besley ndi zhnikaaz. I am a first year student in the Aboriginal Community and Social Development Program here at Georgian College. I have also completed Ojibwe Language 1 and am currently in Ojibwe Language 2. The Ojibwe language is a language that is slowly starting to become non-existent in today's communities. I strongly hope that our website can help revitalize the language and keep it alive for many generations to come! Miigwech for viewing our website!
